Clarification: My laptop was damaged by water, I've already sent it to repair but it is still not fixed yet, I have done everything I can to complete this task. Also, due to this issue I could not show my progress during class.

Final Submission in PDF
REFLECTIONS
Based on my experiences, observations and findings respectively.
This semester has been a painful experience for me. During the busiest weeks with plenty of submission deadlines, my laptop has broken down. I felt so stressful having to redo everything for I did not back up all my works due to my carelessness. I have learnt a huge lesson from this experience and had to force myself to complete what has to be done during this hard time. Throughout the semester, I’ve improved my skills on using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator. I’ve also learned how to create navigations in an ebook. Buttons and forms function in InDesign is a new thing to me and I find it interesting and fun to add them in my final task. It was still a good experience gaining so much knowledges and new skills from all the tasks.
I’ve observed that in order to create a good book design, grids, layouts and alignments are extremely important as the foundation of the book. Without a good layout, good designs would not mean anything because a bad layout will ruin the reading experience. I also observed that font sizes, colors and images used have to be carefully selected as they play a huge role in designing a good, readable book.
I’ve found that interactivity plays an important role in designing an ebook as it increases the reader experience, foster their curiosity to find out what is inside the book and make them not getting bored when reading the content. Besides, I’ve also came to realised that behind every successful ebook design, there are great works needed to be done including the cover design, navigations, buttons and forms, layouts and so much more.
