REFLECTIONS
At the beginning of Assignment 1, it was already very stressful since I did not fully understand about what I need to do in the first assignment. At first, I have completely no idea on how to write a proposal. I was worrying a lot about the proposal and what topic to choose for my research, how to conduct the research, is it even achievable and interesting enough etc. But it all fell into place when our lecturer, Dr. Jinchi constantly reviewing and giving feedbacks on how to improve in writing my proposal.
For assignment 2, I started to feel that I was more on track and know what to do next. However, the struggles I faced throughout the module is that I am really weak in English writing and it was hard for me to convey all the sentences I wanted to include in the assignments, especially Assignment 2 which requires us to give critiques and reviews to the literatures. I’ve always wanted to improve my English and this assignment is a good chance for me to write more and learn from all the mistakes I’ve made throughout the assignments. After completing my last assignment, I felt a little relief that I am finally done with all the writing and I’m really glad that I got to complete all the assignments. Nonetheless, I definitely learned a lot throughout the semester this entire module led me to discover more about graphic design and mental health since I’ve done a huge amount of research regarding this two topics. I’ve also learned a lot about the formats of conducting a research such as how to include the bibliography of an article.
I’ve came to a conclusion that conducting a research requires a huge amount of patience and hard work. In whole, It was a great outlet for me to improve my English writing skills and I’ve had a great experience on how to conduct a formal research. I’m also thankful for Dr. Jinchi in helping me a lot on my assignments throughout the semester by giving constructive advices and critiques to all my writings to improve them better.
